Research Capacity Enhancement Program (ReCEP)

The ReCEP was initiated in 2021 to build the capacity of the research community in Ghana. The focal areas of the ReCEP include the research process, methodology, data analysis, publication, research and innovation commercialization.

National Research and Innovation Lecture Series

ReGIG instituted the National Research and Innovation Lecture Series (NaRILS) to bring together stakeholders in the research arena such as researchers, innovators, technologists, businesses and government to discuss measures to stimulate the generation, dissemination and utilization of research to promote sustainable development.

It also provides a unique opportunity to recognize and celebrate institutions and individuals in the research and innovation landscape in Ghana.

Research and Innovation Projects

  • Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Programming for Women with Obstetric Fistula-Induced Incontinence in Ghana. This project was funded by ELRHA-HIF
  • Stigma, Violence Experience and Mental Wellbeing among COVID-19 Survivors in Ghana: A prospective Longitudinal Cohort Study. This is a collaboration project with University of Ghana and Basic Needs and funded by the COVID-19 Africa Rapid Grant Fund administered by the National Research Foundation of South Africa.
  • Tertiary Students Academic Experience Survey (TSAES). This was initiated and funded by ReGIG.
  • Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES). This was initiated and funded by ReGIG.
