Akosua A. Adu-Poku is a doctoral student at the Department of Sociology, University of Ghana, Legon. She holds a Bachelors and MPhil degree in Sociology from the same University. She also completed a sandwich program in Community Planning from the Uit- Arctic University of Norway. She has over four experiences in teaching as a Graduate and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Sociology, University of Ghana. Sarah’s recent publications have appeared in Criminal Behavior and Mental Health and the International Journal of Psychology. Her research interests include corruption, young people and crime, gender, and criminal justice.
